Shopify redesign
Keep the platform. Rebuild the experience.
We redesign Shopify stores that no longer represent the brand, support the customer journey, or give internal teams enough flexibility to merchandise effectively.
Scope
What we help with
The work that typically sits inside this service. Every engagement is scoped to what your store actually needs.
- Store and UX audit
- Information architecture refresh
- Homepage, collection, product, cart, and navigation redesign
- Theme modernization
- Mobile UX improvement
- Visual system implementation
- Content and merchandising flexibility
- Careful migration from an existing Shopify theme
Our approach
Change what is not working, keep what is.
A redesign is not a reset. Your store already has journeys that convert, content people rely on, and settings someone configured for a reason. We audit before we redraw, protect what earns its place, and focus effort on the pages and moments where the current experience is costing you.
Audit-led priorities
Analytics, session behaviour, and a hands-on review decide what gets redesigned first — not opinion.
Journey before layout
Navigation, discovery, and the product-to-cart path are resolved before visual direction is applied.
A careful theme transition
Content, settings, and custom logic in the existing theme are inventoried and carried across deliberately.
Deliverables
What’s included
What you receive from an engagement of this type. Exact deliverables are confirmed in the scope we agree together.
UX priorities and page strategy
What gets redesigned first, decided from analytics and session behaviour rather than opinion.
Redesigned page templates
Navigation, collection, product, and cart journeys resolved before visual direction is applied.
Rebuilt or extended Shopify theme
A transition that deliberately carries across the content, settings, and custom logic worth keeping.
Modular content sections
Blocks that let campaigns ship without a developer, replacing the rigid templates you had.
QA, launch, and handover
A staged release so change stays observable, with documentation for what moved and why.

FAQ
Shopify Redesign FAQs
Direct answers to what teams ask before starting this kind of work.
Yes, and it is often the safer route. Homepage, collection, and product templates can be released in sequence so change is observable and reversible. We agree the order during planning based on where the current experience is weakest.
Not if it is inventoried first. We catalogue existing sections, metafields, custom logic, and app dependencies before development, then plan how each is carried across, replaced, or deliberately retired.
Either. We can develop from your brand system or designs, or take design direction as part of the engagement. If you have a brand guideline but no storefront design, we work from the guideline and resolve the commerce-specific patterns it does not cover.
A redesign can remove friction we can identify and explain, and we prioritize work on that basis. We do not promise a conversion increase — too much depends on traffic, pricing, product, and seasonality — but we do document what changed so you can evaluate it.
Each app is reviewed for what it contributes, what it costs in storefront weight, and whether the redesign still needs it. Some are re-integrated, some are replaced by native functionality, and some are removed — with your agreement in every case.
